How to post a Feedback on ColorOS Community
1. Firstly you need to log in,
If you don't know how to log in, Please refer login guidelines.
2. Click on "Feedback"
3. Select the feedback type (bug/defect/request)on the top of the input box. Finish all the necessary information of the issue.
You are required to provide the LOG file and corresponding time when the problem occurred. Screen recording and screenshot are very necessary for engineers. Please make sure you upload all the attachment to ColorOS Community.

What's the difference of the feedback type?
▶ BUG Feedback:
- Functional issue: Breeno, Communication,Desktop & Tools, System & Security, Camera, internet, etc.
- Performance issue: App crashing, heating, powerconsumption, hang, etc.
Consider following before posting BUG feedback:
1. Reproduction Step: Describe as detail as possible about how the issueappeared. Engineer can follow your steps to check it out.
2. Log File: Upload the log file of theproblem, screen recording or screenshot are more helpful.
Design Defect Feedback:
- Function design: unfriendly operation
- Interface design: unusual fonts, design uniformity is not good

1. Improvement Suggestions: Describe how you think the design defect can be improved.

Request feedback mainly refers to your own expectation that ColorOS does not have.

How to capture a valid Log file
4 Steps to capture a valid Log file.
Step 1:Dial“ *#800#” in the dialer and press “OK”in the popup Warning and press “User”in the popup.
Step2:Select the type of Log.“Default” is for commonbug and others are for the corresponding bug.
Step3:Turn on “Screen Recording” and press “OK” in the popup warning. Click“Start Logging”and reproduce the issue, click “StopLogging” when finish capturing and fill in the details of the issue.
Step 4 : Upload the log file toColorOS Community(less than 50 MB file),or to Google Drive (more than 50 MB file), and share the link when you post the feedback. (Log file is in the following path: File Manager > PhoneStorage > oppo_log > newly debugfolder)

1. What is the difference between Beta user and the official users?
① LOG steps and LOG capturing method of beta user and the official user is one and the same.
② BETA users cannot upload the LOG while the official user can select the log to upload on OPPO server.
③ Naming the file:
Beta User capture the login folder name: debug @stop @time
Official User capture the log in the folder name: problem title @stop @time
2. Is it necessary to always ON screen recording while performing the LOG?
If you start the screen recording it will only record for 30 minutes. If youwant to perform a LOG on standby power consumption or some long term functions,it is not necessary to ON the screen recording.
