After getting a great response from you all FANs on two successful episodes of Behind ColorOS #1 Behind ColorOS-5G is here and #2 BehindColorOS-Hyperboost we came up with latest episode of Behind ColorOS which is based on 'Privacy Protection Features'

Privacy Protection Features (Smart Spying Prevention (New on Reno4!), Private Safe, and Hide Apps)

Sorry but all the data would be erased after the factory reset. So no, the data stored in the  private safe would also disappear after the reset.

Smart Spying Prevention would only be available on Reno 4 and it is not compatible under Super Power Saving Mode.

We will not only recognize the facial information, but also the number of people using the Smart spying Prevention feature. If there is more than one person, the Smart Spying Prevention will also kick in.

No. Smart Spying Prevention depends on the camera at present, so this function will be temporarily disabled when the camera is occupied.

We do not collect the face data of each detection. We only compare the face shown on the camera with the face data stored in the phone. Therefore the process is secured and no personal data would be leaked.

Why the size of the file that can be added to private safe is limited to 2GB?
Recently, the availability of 4k content has increased significantly and the current technology is fast pacing to 8K from 4K, 2GB file size limit seems to be inconvenient in many occasions.

With smart spying prevention feature, Reno4 automatically hides the popping up messages when someone else is peeking at your phone. How is it made possible? Does the phone uses front camera at all time to monitor the user? How does this feature effect battery life?

In order to automatically hide the popping up messages when someone else is peeking at your phone, phone needs to verify the user each time a message pops up. And this should work when receiving messages while gaming also. So how does this feature affect gaming performance? If this feature is turned on during gaming, will it cause lag in high graphics gameplay?
