The time of sunset is defined in astronomy as the moment when the upper limb of the Sun disappears below the horizon. Near the horizon, atmospheric refraction causes sunlight rays to be distorted to such an extent that geometrically the solar disk is already about one diameter below the horizon when sunset is observed. Sunsets are one of the most common and widely photographed events in nature. They are stunning and inspiring to watch and never seem to last quite long enough before everything is over. I’ve been on quite a few photos walks during sunset. Twilight is the period of time in between day and night and is caused by refraction and the suns rays scattering from the atmosphere.
This picture was taken from the top floor of my house. it was in the afternoon around 4.45 p.m. if you closely look at this picture you found how beautiful our nature, they don't need any effect, they are simple but effective. Exposure Time: 1/2427s.
The period of time leading up to sunset or directly after sunset are the most popular times for photography. The light is beautiful and perfect for portraits and landscapes. The sunlight is diffused and less harsh, and beautiful warm tones are cast across the horizon. so that's why I try to capture this picture in a unique way. Exposure Time: 1/823s
Civil twilight is the brightest phase of twilight and occurs from the moment the sun dips below the horizon and lasts until the centre of the sun is geometrically 6 degrees below the horizon. This is the most important phase of photography, This period of time lasts about 30 minutes. This picture capture in the city area so it's very difficult to take the pictures in low light. Exposure Time: 1/2584s.
During civil twilight, the colours of the sky are going to be changing quickly. The sunset colours are going to go away and an entire new set of colours are going to splay out across the sky. Nautical twilight occurs right after civil twilight in the evening, This phase occurs when the centre of the sun is between 6 and 12 degrees below the horizon in the evening. I used a small well-shaped rod which makes this picture more beautiful. Exposure Time: 1/829s & 1/736s
The last phase of twilight is known as astronomical twilight. This period of twilight occurs when the exposure of the sun is between 12 and 18 degrees below the horizon and slowly degrades over a period of 30 minutes before night time officially begins. Getting handheld images during this time is pretty much impossible, and a tripod is strongly suggested. During this phase of twilight, there is still some useable light to make for very interesting pictures but the night will be approaching quickly.
