Hello ColorOs Family,
My name is Sumedh Joshi. Today i am going to share with you some tips and tricks
in Street Photography!
Hope you all like it.
So lets get started...
As we all know in street photography the main motive here is to capture ,
candid expressions and perfect moments!
For Street photography the only thing you need the most is patience, and
you need to click a photo through which viewer can come up with a story
just by seeing the photo!
Always try to click such picture in which there is a human element in the frame!
This tip will let your viewer draw attention to the subject and the background will stand out.
Also if you are capturing such subjects surrounded by trees and person walking by then,
make sure you click such photo in low angle !
If you have a subject in frame try to click such subject in wide angle mode!
Wide angle mode gives you a different kind of perspective and let the subject stand out ,
and also such shots look more unique!
*Bonus Tip* :- If someone asks you why are you clicking their photo ,
Tell them that this photos are for college project.
Try to use different perspectives while you click Street Photography!
In the above photo the shop was filled with somany objects so i tried keeping the main subject in centre,
and clicked this photo. This helped the subject stand out !
*Bonus Tip*:- If you want to click photo of shopkeeper or vendors try to click their photo,
when there shop is busy with people because of which you will get some candid shots!
Street photos look more dramatic in Black and white and also it helps to tell the story!
In Black and white photos the photo itself tells the story and looks real!
*Note*:-
Try to ask the person for photo before you click ,
If the person doesnt allow you to click the photo, just smile and move ahead !
There is a method called Fishing in which you have to wait for the subject to come in to the frame!
The way fisherman waits for his Fish and he captures the fish.
Try this method during early morning or during sunset ,
this will help you play with light and shadow!
I Captured the above photo early morning and waited for more than 30 minutes to click this!
This is a very Famous method in street photography.
This method is used to capture Moving subjects.
For this method you need to click subject using slow shutterspeed to get the panning effect!
