"You dont take a Photograph, you make it"

Hello ColorOS Family,

My name is Sumedh Joshi. Today im going to showcase different types of Photography!

I hope you all Love it.

This article will help you understand different topics !

So lets get started :-

Photographs play an important role in everyone's life – they connect us to our past, they remind us of people, places, feelings, and stories. They can help us to know who we are. ...

In Photography the gear you use doesnt matter, the way you click the photos matters the most!

1.Portrait:-

Portrait photography is capturing the photograph of a person or a group of people and can be one of the most challenging genres of photography . Portrait photographs capture the personality, character and mood of the subject and they can be considered an artistic representation of a someone’s character. Portraits should be captured in a way that they tell a story about the subject and create a connection between the viewer and the subject.

Portrait photographs go beyond just photographing the people where the face, especially the eyes are always given more attention in a portrait as they speak the mood and portray the emotions of the person. Posing also plays a major role in creating effective portraits as it contributes to the overall power and story of the image.

When it comes to professional quality portraiture, a key differentiator between good and great photographers is the ability for the artist to capture and portray emotions in the subject’s face.
Capturing emotion via photography can be incredibly tricky. Many artists struggle to tell stories through portraiture work, since there is only so much you can demonstrate when you’re capturing an image of a person's face, compared to a scenery shot for example, where you have much more freedom to show and tell.

2. Bird Photography :-

Bird photography is one of the most popular genres of nature photography. This should come as no surprise since birding is one of the world’s most popular pastimes!

Bird photography is also a very challenging endeavor, requiring specialized skills and equipment – one does not simply pick up the camera used for family vacation photos and capture compelling avian images. On the same token, having the best possible photographic gear for the task does not ensure success either. It seems the most successful bird photographers are not only skilled photographic technicians, but also have a thorough understanding of avian behavior and habitat. Most importantly, they all have a deep love and appreciation for their subjects.

It is easier to look at birds as people that you want to approach than looking at them as simply subjects. Every individual person has a different comfort level in front of the camera. Very similarly, not all birds behave alike when it comes to letting you approach. Some let you closer than others.

Birds have a circle of confidence. Break that and more likely than not the bird will fly off. It is very important for a bird photographer to realize and appreciate that. Whats intriguing about this circle of confidence is that it changes based on how you approach. Spend more time getting close to a bird and more often than not the circle gets smaller and smaller. Not all images need you to be up close but it helps in understanding the birds’ comfort level before jumping in. A lot of beginners tend to rush in, where as the key to success is exactly the opposite.

3. Product Photography:-

Product photography is a form of commercial photography that has the goal of presenting a product in the best possible photographic representation. Great product photography takes into careful consideration the tools of proper lighting, background materials, sharp camera focus with proper depth of field, advantageous camera angles and careful editing.

A picture might be worth a thousand words, but when it comes to product photography, photos can be worth thousands of dollars. Nowadays various brand send their products for you to click some goo pictures.

4:- Light Painting :-

Light Painting Photography is the Art Form of using handheld lights to paint and/or draw in a scene while the shutter of a camera is left open during a long exposure photograph. By shooting in a dark location and using photographic technique of LONG exposure photography (lets say a 30 second exposure) the flashes, streaks, colors, textures, and trails of light created by our light painting tools and modifiers can be captured in your photograph without the use of any post production. Exposure times for light paintings can range from just a few seconds up to an hour or more.

The most essential thing that’s different from the majority of the photos you’ll probably take is the fact that you’re going to want a long exposure. We’re talking really long: at least 30 seconds, if not longer, depending on what you’re creating. A long exposure allows your camera to capture motion in a blur, while stationary objects stay crisp. In the case of light paintings, the motion will be a light source.

For Light Pinting tripod is must if you want best results. Also the darker the room the better the output is .
Try playing with light painting you will surely love this !

5. Macro Photography:-

Nothing catches the eye like a genuinely unique macro photograph. Macros can seem to transport the viewer into another world. Macro photography is the art of making tiny things look big. You can do this by getting very close to your subject, or by getting a telephoto lens and zooming way in. Insects are the perfect example. They are tiny, and a great macro image of an insect takes the viewer into an entirely different universe.

If you are not good with clicling macros of insect, then try to click macros of water droplets. The way i have clicked in the next photos i have showcased.

Macro photography is not always easy, especially for beginners, but it is one of the most rewarding genres of photography you can do. With the right skills, you will be able to capture amazing images even in your own backyard.

Try to use some additional Macro lens for best results.

6. Animal(Cat) Photography:-

For many of us, a cat is another member of the family. A little creature you've fed, played with and watched as it matured from a fuzzy kitten to a big (perhaps fat) cat. We know you love to share photos of your family and friends, but what about little Whiskers? He deserves his day in the sun, too. However, just because you want to photograph him doesn't mean he wants to be photographed!

They're so adorable with their big eyes and oversized ears. Before long they will have grown into those big paws and those kitten days will be long gone. Make sure you preserve this time by photographing your little guy as a he grows. Begin photographing him on the day you adopt him, and as he adjusts to his new home. That's when some of the funniest shots can be made.

You will find Cat Photography very cute! For this the cat needs to get comfortable with you so that you can get some beautiful shots of cats. Make sure you play with cats first so that you will get some best clicks of the cat as cat will get friendly and also the cat will be in a good mood!

7. FlatLay Photography:-

A flat lay is a picture taken from a birds eye view of a collection of items laid out on a flat surface. Usually there will be one item that is the main focus of the shot known as the hero, all the other items in the flat lay are there to complement the hero piece.

For flatlay photography play with different props and makesure you keep the object in the centre so that users attention will draw towards the subject and also it will look good.Try to use some different and beautiful backdrops to get the best result.
