OPPO Developers Conference 2020


ODC20 was held in SHENZHEN on Sept.25th and company has announced some major developments done so far. We all know OPPO is meant for Innovation, and have seen their innovation in their products. During the event, OPPO has launched ColorOS 11 in China Officially( ColorOS 11 Launched Globally earlier on Sept.14th). They also shared their IoT vision to enjoy a smart and delightful life. Let's get into brief on these.

The first IoT Enablement Plan of OPPO was released at ODC 2019, which held last year. By opening up of some technical capabilities, the OPPO IoT ecosystem began to take shape and establish its wings. OPPO has also successively released a variety of smart devices such as the OPPO Enco series acoustic products, OPPO Watch, and 5G CPE, and established partnerships with more than 30 well-known brands in the industry. More than 50 terminal categories and stock keeping Unit exceeded 300 were introduced in total.

OPPO has also stated that they are currently working on 5G development and its integration with AR,AI and cloud computing technologies. As an innovative company, OPPO always tries to bring outstanding technology for their users. On a final note, OPPO said that will work on adhere to the Win and Win business philosophy. OPPO would bring some major innovations to build a new ecosystem based on the Internet of Experience by joining with global developers and partners from capability openness to resource investment and who can work together in making this possible.

ColorOS Reached 370+ Monthly Active Users


OPPO and ColorOS announced that active monthly global users of ColorOS have reached 370+ million. We have recently seen that ColorOS have crossed 350 million monthly active users mark. But in no time, a great news is revealed saying ColorOS crossed 370 million. This is one of greatest milestone for any operating system. In this 370 million people, there are many core fans, testers, users too. About 140,000 developers have used the OPPO open platform, and the open capabilities provided by OPPO are used more than 18 billion times per day. OPPO's global application ecosystem continues to grow, with more than 330 million monthly active users and more than 1.7 billion daily distributions which is certainly a huge number.

OPPO Launched In South Africa Officially
OPPO has expanded their wings into 40+ countries since they launched in 2004. And now they landed in South Africa and started their journey in the african lands. OPPO has officially announced it on their Twitter platform. We hope OPPO would succeed in SA by their innovative products. OPPO hosts global 5G video call at Roland-Garros


OPPO by showcasing the capabilities of OPPO 5G, with its advanced 5G version, OPPO has given a unique opportunity for top junior tennis players who aren't able to compete or watch matches at this year's Roland-Garros. Together with Managing Director of OPPO France, Denis Morel, the Roland-Garros Tournament Director and former world number three and Davis Cup Winner Guy Forget connected via a video call using an OPPO Find X2 Pro with top junior tennis players to discuss how technology continues to change the world of tennis. A lot more discussion is appeared between the members who joined the call.


All this held successful because of the special partnership between OPPO and Roland-Garros in terms of their shared values for always been in search of excellence and to constantly push the boundaries of innovation. As a result, this year's activations build on the groundwork already established as OPPO more deeply engages with a younger audience throughout Europe and among global tennis fans, as well as the French Tennis Federation's brand strategy to increase its presence in markets throughout Asia. All these strategies are leading to give a strong base for OPPO to develop in European countries too...
