Hello ColorOS SuperFans,
INTRODUCTION
In that article, there were many tips and tricks for architecture photography. But at that time I did not have many photographs of my own. Recently I was lucky to get my hands on Oppo F17 Pro mobile. While I was walking in the neighbourhood, I noticed some cool designs of buildings and different perspectives. So I tried to captured them in the photographs below. This has been the test of F17 Pro camera as well!
PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED WHILE DOING ARCHITECTURE PHOTOGRAPHY
• Main problem while photography tall buildings is that of a perspective. The building in photograph looks skewed. But thanks to wide angle lens, I manage to minimise the distortion.
• Second problem is that it is awkward to photograph someone else's house or apartment because your activity may look suspicious. The solution is to get up early when everyone is sleeping and just at the sunrise start taking photographs, no one will bother you!
• Third problem is that in India, in every state, there are electric poles and wires going in every direction. You cannot take a single photo without electric wires. The solution is try to frame your shot without wire or remove them in post processing.
• Fourth problem is that of parked vehicles. They ruin the shot. To solve this problem, you need to wait for everyone to leave for their work and then go for photography. Or try to do photography in the evening.
• Also if you are trying to photograph a busy building like mall for office complex, there are peoples everywhere. You need to time your photograph when there are no or less people.
• In short, you you need to to determine the perfect timing for photographing a particular building.
HERE ARE THE PHOTOS TAKEN WITH F17 PRO
This is the building just completed with no occupancy. The colouring on the outside is also not complete but I liked the yellow accent. Unoccupied buildings look very clean because after words there are clothes and other things in the balcony.
Adding sky for dramatic effect.
I like the red stripes. Tried to cut the bottom part with trees and vehicles.
Contrasting view with brick wall vs plain white wall and blue sky.
Indoor photo with 3 different colours joining at a point in the corner. You can also see a window and the door.
Buildings look very imposing when viewed from the below.
Mirrored glass reflects the sky. I like how how his wall is covered mostly with windows that too with different sizes and shapes.
Pipeworks seen from below upwards. They are the guts of the building.
This building looks cute. I liked the design of the railing.
Red textured bricks with three lights and iron bars peaking from the top.
