Hello ColorOS SuperFans!
INTRODUCTION
Oppo F17 Pro comes with ColorOS 7.2 pre installed. Most of us are using ColorOS 7 on our devices, so the ColorOS 7.2 update will look minor. But still it has some new features worth mentioning. Oppo has included in app called "Oppo Lab" which enumerates many of the new features. Oppo calls them "the experiments". So let's check them out.
EXPERIMENT 1: LAB RINGTONE
The main theme of ColorOS is ability to customise every aspect of UI. Lab ringtone feature lets us customise the ringtone. At present there are only two ringtones for customisation.
EXPERIMENT 2: DECISION SPINNER
Provides a spinner with various options which will be selected randomly. You can use the "+" icon to create a category of your choice. For example, this can be used as a dice while playing Ludo.
EXPERIMENT 3: GRAVITY WALLPAPER
It's a new live wallpaper included in ColorOS 7.2. It changes the moon shadow according to the device movements.
EXPERIMENT 4: FOCUS MODE
If you want to focus on your work then go to focus mode. This is not a new feature per se.
EXPERIMENT 5: ICON PULL DOWN GESTURE
If you find it difficult to touch the top row icons, then his feature will shrink the icons to the lower part of the screen for easy access.
EXPERIMENT 6: QUICK RETURN BUBBLE
I am not a gamer and I don't use this feature very much. But if you play games, this feature will remind you when the match starts and you can jump back instantly.
EXPERIMENT 7: PERSONALIZED ICON STYLE
Same options as in ColorOS 7.
EXPERIMENT 8: 3 FINGER SCREENSHOT
Very easy to capture screenshot with partial screenshot and scrolling screenshot.
EXPERIMENT 9: SCREEN OFF GESTURES
When the screen is off, just draw "O" for camera and "V" for torch.
EXPERIMENT 10: FLIP TO MUTE INCOMING CALLS
If you cannot take a call at present you can press any of the volume buttons to mute the ring. Now, it can be easily done by just flipping the phone.
