[ColorOS Event] Ideas are Invited from Techies!!

Hello ColorOS FANs,

We came up with an exciting event to invite you to express and share your mind-blowing Ideas with ColorOS.

Selected Idea can get chance to be implemented in upcoming ColorOS version.

Here are the details of event:

[Event Flow  & Timelines]

1. Ideas submission by FANs. [22.12.2020~03.01.2021]
2. ColorOS Team will filter 5-10 ideas for next phase. [04.01.2021~06.01.2021]
3. Selected ideas will be eligible for voting by FANs.
4. Voting will be done on ColorOS Community. [07.01.2021~10.01.2021]
5. Submitter can campaign for voting on his idea on various FAN groups in Telegram and at their own Social media account.
6. Top 3 voted ideas will get chance to participate in Final round. [11.01.2021]
7. 3 Finalist will present their IDEA in an online session for 3-5 minutes with Community & R&D Team. [13.01.2021]
8. 1 Winner will be selected from 3 Ideas, winner announcement on ColorOS Community. [14.01.2021]


[How to Participate]

1. You can submit your Ideas in the below mentioned format.
2. Ideas should be submit in the comment section of this thread.
3. Only 1 Idea per comment would be accepted.
4. There is no restriction on no. of entries.
5. Ideas should be unique and shouldn't be copied directly from some other source.
6. Only Software implementation ideas would be considered, Hardware suggestions would be discarded.


Format
Entries should consist of following fields in it:

Participant Name: Mention Your name
Idea Title: Short 1 liner title, describing Idea.
Problem / Enhancement: Describe which problem/situation are you trying to solve or which  operation/situation you are trying to improve.  
Introduction: Describe your idea for complete understanding
Inspiration: Have you seen anything similar or what inspired you to suggest this solution

Topics
There is no limitation or restriction on Idea topics, it can be any topic related to Mobile Phone features.
Some examples are: Device Privacy, Online device security, Online learning.


[Reward]
Top idea submitter will receive a reward as:

1.     Participate in discussion with India R&D team in 1st level of Feature implementation

2.     Latest OPPO Reno Series Phone

3.     T-shirts with 'Winner's Title'.

discription:- the quick window shortcut or app shortcut tile should be visible all the time while on the landscape mode. Because some times this feature is absent most of the time.

Idea Title: Convenient One handed-mode

Problem/ Enhancement: While standing in bus or train and holding something in our one hand its difficult to access full screen of phone like because phones are now longer and bigger. So i turn on one hand mode by pulling down notification drawer.
Now there is many problems with the current one hand mode-
1. If phone is in my Right hand and one hand mode is turned on then Its little difficult and paining to use swipe up gesture or any navigation tools in bottom, and difficulty in clicking anywhere in bottom-right area.if i will switch position of one hand mode in lett
then again the same problem difficulty in accessing the bottom-left area.
And even if I will use my right hand to handle phone the same problems above will happen.
2. One hand mode closes automatically if screen gets turn off or after unlocking phone.I have to open one hand mode again from notification drawer.

Now enhancements that can be done-
1.Fix one hand mode automatically closing after screen off so that I don't need to turn on hand mode everytime during travel.
2 . Give a " L" screen-off gesture to open one hand mode quickly and easily instead of turning it on from notification drawer.
3.One had mode should be moveable in round path in screen as per my convenience,just like we can move floating calculator anywhere in screen.
4. Providing adjustable Screen size in One hand mode would be great.just like floating calculator but within a small range.
5. Blur the remaining screen with current wallpaper instead of dark screen so that phone looks good in one hand mode.

Introduction: The new One hand mode can be opened by two ways, either draw " L " in off screen (Screen off gesture) or turn on from notification drawer.New One hand made will be like floating window as the calculator or like the floating window but bigger in size and one side will be always stick to side of the screen.The rest of the screen will be blurred with current wallpaper.User will have a assistive ball like dot in rest of the blurred screen.This assistive ball will have 3 options- to exit from one hand mode, to customise size of one hand mode and to customise screen place in one hand mode.

Inspiration: I got inspiration from New Flexdrop feature in ColorOS 11.

Idea title :- Better use of puch hole camera cut out.

Problem / Enhancement :-

Many a times we require to see the battery percentage while gaming or media and dragging down the screen becomes interruption.

Introduction :-
Battery indicator or notification light (for those device which doesn't have notification light) around the cutout would be useful while using landscape mode for gaming or for watching media.

Inspiration: I have seen this feature using 3rd party app for battery indicator, but we can use different lights for battery and for notication lights and it looks cool.
